1. The class corrected and reviewed vocabulary workbook lessons 23 and 24.

2. The class read aloud all of chapter 14 and the beginning of chapter 15 of To Kill a Mockingbird.

Social Studies

Students reviewed for the chapter 23 test, which will be given on Friday, May 18, by starting to fill out the study guide for this test.

Finish your character sensory figure for To Kill a Mockingbird chapter 11.  Finish reading social studies textbook chapter 24 by Friday, May 18; also due on the 18th are the chapters 18-22 project and lessons 25 and 26 on vocabulary workbook pages 161-172.

The class read aloud chapters 12 and 13 of To Kill a Mockingbird.

Social Studies

1. Students completed preview 24 on notebook page 167.

2. Students began reading chapter 24, “Tensions in the West,” on textbook pages 336-351.

The project description paragraph for the chapters 18-22 project is due Thursday, May 10; the chapters 18-22 project itself is due Friday, May 18. Lessons 23 and 24 on vocabulary workbook pages 147-158 are due Friday, May 11.
